The prison industrial complex is everywhere. The line between stealing and finding is decided upon racial lines. Criminality is not chosen nor a birthright, it is an assignation.
Don't ask me why I chose hung like a jury. I am amused by the thinly-veiled sexual reference, but I also find the capitol punishment/sucide reference to be interesting historical context for the phrase "hung jury,:" and indicative of the prison industrial complex and its ubiquitousness. And also, hung juries refer to indecision, which seems to be a great theme in my life, and especially in the completion of my degree...Finally, if every jury were a hung jury, no one would go to prison, and we would be forced to create alternatives to imprisonment. So to all juries, I say, "hang away."
